The ‘Church in the School’ has been meeting on White Woman Lane School premises for over thirty years - therefore various links have been forged with staff, parents and pupils.
For example –
A member of our Church community is a governor at White Woman Lane School.
School assemblies led by Methodist Church Minister and Christian testimony during School assemblies.
Congregational members assist school pupils with reading.
School choir assists with worship at Church Carol Service, which parents and teachers attend.
Joint ‘Summer Fayre’ raises funds for both Church and School charities, with help from pupils, teachers and congregation.
Bibles, book markers and Christmas CD ‘It’s a boy’, given to School and individual pupils from White Woman Lane Methodist Church.
School Caretaker ensures that a banner is displayed every Sunday on School gate, to indicate that worship is taking place.
